Do I need a personal Online Banking login or do I need a Business Online login?

  • Do you use or plan to use QuickBooks?
  • Do you need to see accounts for more than one company EIN?
  • Do several people need a login to see your company(s) accounts?
  • Do you plan to use ACH Origination for direct deposit payroll or to receive auto-debit payments?
  • Do you plan to use Merchant Capture to scan and deposit your own business checks?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, you will need a Business Online login.

If you answer NO to all of these questions, a personal Online Banking account will work just fine!

Online Banking – any customer with an open active checking, savings, loan or certificate of deposit account may enroll for Online Banking.  Personal Online Banking logins are ideal for individuals or small businesses to allow easy and convenient online access to account information, eStatements, online bill pay, and mobile banking. Enrollment takes only a couple of minutes to complete.

  • Usernames must be at least 6 characters long – letters or numbers only.
  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters long, including at least 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 special character (such as ! @ # $ * +).
  • Lockouts occur when a wrong password is entered 3 times.  You may wait 30 minutes for 3 more login attempts.  If locked out a second time, you must contact the bank to be reset.
  • Before being locked out, the Forgot Password tool may be used to receive a temporary password by email.
  • Lockout may also occur if security challenge questions are answered incorrectly.

Business Online – commercial customers with open active accounts may request one or more Business Online logins for secure access to current account information, archived eStatements, online bill pay and cash management tools such as QuickBooks, ACH Origination and Merchant Capture.  Business Online logins work well for companies and organizations that require more than one user login, or a single login accessing accounts for multiple companies.

Commercial customers may request new Business Online service during normal business hours.  Each Business Online login is customized for the number of employee logins needed, specific account access, specific duties (such as view only, transfer, bill pay, or cash management tools) to fulfill any job position from accountant to senior manager. Information needed to create logins: full name and date of birth for each user, email address for each user, preferred username for each user (minimum 6 characters, letters or numbers), list of accounts each user may see, specific duties each user may perform for each account, and any restriction of hours the user may login.

New Business Online logins can usually be created within 1-2 business days. Cash Management services such as ACH Origination or Merchant Capture require an application approval process, signed agreement, and additional training prior to use.

Go Paperless eStatements – all Online Banking customers may enroll to Go Green and Go Paperless and receive only electronic eStatements. NOTE: Enrolling for Online Banking does not automatically turn off your paper statements.  You must enroll for eStatements if you wish to stop receiving paper statements by mail.

eStatement enrollment is easy and takes only a couple of minutes.  Login to your Online Banking, click on Profile in the upper right of your screen and click to edit your Electronic Statements.  Choose the account you wish to enroll, click to view the Terms & Conditions, type the confirmation code into the online form and submit.  Depending on your account’s statement cycle, you might receive one more paper copy by mail.

To return to Paper Statements, contact your local branch.

Mobile Banking – all Online Banking customers may enroll for Mobile Banking.  Most features available through Online Banking are also available on the Mobile Banking App including: branch and ATM locations, account balances, transaction history, transfers, and Bill Pay.

To enroll for Mobile Banking, login to your Online Banking, click on Profile in the upper right of your screen, scroll down to Mobile Banking and click Enroll.  Once enrolled you can click to Manage Devices in this area.

Security Online – Community National Bank uses many different security tools to provide you a secure environment to conduct your internet banking transactions. Multi Factor Authentication. is one tool used in addition to your secure login for Online Banking or Business Online.
